Depression. Your hooks between my shoulder blades are causing me to bleed to death. It's funny how your chains can still hold me down to this sandy beach. These concrete shoes are holding me feet down.   I can still barely move them though. The sun brings about a morning glow. It is hot. At least I can see though. Winding my way out of these chains. Pulling them out beneath my shoulder blades is so painful. It's also hard to see and I can't actually tell what I'm doing. I'm still trying though. When depression is sweet. I retreat to isolation. Away from the cowards. Away from the stabs in my heart. I pulled out the dagger from my heart. You tricked me again. I'm bleeding all over the ground. Please put away your swords gentlemen. I've had enough. Don't make me stab you please. Please, sister drop your weapon. I want to help you. Let me hold you. If only you could taste the love in my tears. All my energy. All of devotion goes to you now.  

Why don't you reach out more? How come the only time you see me, Is at the clear end of a cheap whisky bottle? Bravery? There is nothing to fear. I know and have always known, that you are just as human as I. I learned that many years ago when you hid under my blankets, I protected you from the thunderstorms. We have a special gift, that other's don't have. Why waste it on fear? Do you not understand the depth of my love? My free spirit? My understanding? My compassion? Poor sister, we have allot of catching up to do.
